Nomad Striped Hoodie – Unisex Cotton Zip Jacket

A cream cotton zip jacket that carries its pattern in bands rather than all over. The body and the sleeves are covered in broken horizontal stripes of brown on off-white, each one reading like a line of stitching laid across the cloth. The placket, the cuffs, the hood edge and the hem carry wider geometric bands of stepped triangles and diamonds, so the neckline and the wrists are the places the eye lands.

A hood built for wind

The hood is cut deep and soft, generous enough to pull up against a cold breeze and relaxed enough to sit flat on the shoulders when you leave it down. A dark zip runs the full length of the front. Two hip pockets sit as vertical slits in the front panels, just inside the side seam, so a hand drops in without reaching for anything.

How it wears

Zip it to the collar over a plain tee for the shoulder months, or leave it open with the hood down when the afternoon warms up. The shape is straight and relaxed with room through the body for a layer underneath, and the sleeves end at the wrist so the print cuff stays visible. Off-white with brown pattern, in a single colourway.

Cut and printed in Jaipur by Crystal Heal, in small runs rather than mass production, with the print bands placed by hand along the placket and hem.
