Hand wash in cold water or machine wash on a delicate/gentle cycle. Handblock prints set best with cold water — hot water can loosen the dye bond over multiple washes. Hang dry in the shade; avoid prolonged direct sun on the printed side. Do not bleach. Iron on medium heat from the reverse side to protect the print. The cotton softens noticeably with each wash.

The Vasuki is a Rajasthani handblock printed dhoti in soft cotton — geometric
and paisley motifs pressed into the cloth by hand in Sanganer, Jaipur. Each
block is inked, positioned, and pressed one at a time; the slight variation from
print to print is the mark of the hand, not a defect. The cotton is soft enough to
drape naturally without stiffening, and the weave holds the print without cracking
over time.

At 51 inches wide and 2 metres long, the Vasuki wraps with room to spare. It
folds into a traditional dhoti drape, ties as a lungi for a shorter silhouette, or
wraps as a sarong for travel or beach days. Free size — works for most waist
measurements from 28 to 44 inches depending on how you style the knot.
The Rajasthani handblock print comes in Red with black motifs, Black with white
patterns, and Brown with natural-dye-toned geometric work. Each colourway
reads differently against different light — the Red deepens indoors, the Black
sharpens outdoors, the Brown is warmest in golden hour.

Pair the Vasuki with a plain cotton kurta and leather sandals for a traditional

A Rajasthani dhoti is a traditional unstitched lower garment made from cotton or silk, typically distinguished by its handblock print — geometric, paisley, or floral motifs block-printed using carved wooden stamps. Unlike a plain white dhoti worn in South India, a Rajasthani dhoti carries the colour and craft of Rajasthan's textile heritage. The Vasuki Dhoti is handblock printed in Sanganer, Jaipur — one of India's oldest block-printing centres — in soft cotton with geometric and paisley designs.

The Vasuki Dhoti can be worn in several ways. (1) Traditional dhoti drape: fold lengthwise, wrap around the waist, pleat the front, and tuck the loose end at the back. (2) Lungi style: fold to knee or calf length and tie at the waist — a common casual style across South and Southeast Asia.
