Baggy Kurta – Unisex Hand Block Print Jute-Cotton Kurta

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash separately. Turn the kurta inside out to protect the block print. Do not bleach. Line dry in shade. Iron on low heat on the reverse side.

The Baggy Kurta is a relaxed-cut kurta in a textured jute-cotton weave, with a tribal-inspired hand block print along the hem and a matching printed trim on the V-slit neckline. The cut falls straight from the shoulder, so the cloth sits away from the body and the printed border stays clear at the hem. Sleeves are three-quarter length and cut wide, closed with a plain turned cuff. Two patch pockets sit at the front of the garment. The neck edge carries a soft raw fringe, which is part of the finish rather than a loose seam.

The print is placed rather than scattered: a geometric diamond border across the hem, a matching trim at the neck, and the body of the cloth left plain so the slub weave reads clearly. Wear it over wide-leg pants or dhoti-style trousers with sandals through the day, or with straight trousers for evenings. The silhouette is one loose cut rather than a men's or women's fit, so it sits the same way on whoever reaches for it.
