Gentle hand wash separately in cold water. Natural hand block dyes may release a little colour in the first rinse; this is normal for authentic non-synthetic dyes. Do not bleach. Dry in shade away from direct sunlight. Warm iron on the reverse if needed.

Some pieces work because of what is left off them. The Kosha Vest is cut sleeveless and clean through the shoulder, with no collar to fuss over, no fastening to line up and no pocket to break the line. What remains is a single hand block printed column of zigzag triangles running the full length of the front and the back, stamped by hand onto soft viscose knit.

Viscose knit is the reason this layer feels the way it does. It moves with you instead of sitting stiff against the body, holds a quiet texture under the print, and stays light enough for warm afternoons in Jaipur or a long evening outdoors. The natural cream ground lets the earth brown motif do the talking.

Raw edges, easy line

The neckline, armholes and hem are left raw and frayed. That is deliberate: it gives the piece an unfinished, hand-made character that softens further as it settles into your wardrobe, and it keeps the silhouette loose rather than tailored.

How to wear it

Wear it alone with ecru linen trousers for daytime, over a plain tee when the sun drops, or open with a dhoti for a temple morning and festival evening. It layers just as easily under an overshirt. Keep the rest of the outfit plain and let the print carry it.
