Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, or hand wash. The block print may release a little excess dye in
the first rinse—that's normal and means the print is handmade. Hang dry in the shade to preserve the
indigo and ochre tones. Do not bleach. The 100% cotton softens beautifully with each wash without
losing its shape.
"The Adhik Kurta is handcrafted black block-printed cotton, made using centuries-old printing
techniques from Sanganer, Jaipur. Each print is hand-stamped by our artisans, meaning no two kurtas
are exactly alike. Soft, breathable 100% cotton that only gets better with every wash—a fabric built to
last, not to be replaced. Cut with a straight, relaxed fit and a smart mandarin collar that works for
formal ceremonies (weddings, pujas) and casual wear (festivals, evening gatherings, everyday
traditional dress). Wear it alone with a dhoti or pyjama for authentic ethnic style, or layer it over jeans
for a modern bohemian look. Pair the Adhik with our Vyom Dhoti or Tribal Dhoti for a complete
ceremonial set. Works beautifully with indigo-dyed pants for a festival look or jeans for casual-casual
days."

Frequently Asked Questions
Block printing is an ancient technique where artisans carve designs into wooden blocks, dip them in natural dye, and hand-stamp each piece of fabric. No two prints are identical—this is the beauty of handmade. Our Adhik Kurta is stamped by 35 artisans in our Sanganer, Jaipur workshop.
The first wash may release a little excess dye (natural indigo and plant-based colors). Rinse in cold water—that's normal and means your print is handmade. After the first rinse, the kurta is colorfast. Hang dry in shade to keep tones vibrant for years.

While I love the quality and feel of the fabric the cloth has shrunk from large to almost less than medium. I should have bought an XL if I was aware of this.
