Description
Aabha is a brass cuff bracelet built around a fan-shaped abalone shell centrepiece, framed in antique gold tone metalwork with openwork scrolls worked either side of the shell.
The cuff is open at the back, so it slides over the wrist and holds without a clasp. Press the two ends to sit it where you want it; the band is firm enough to stay in place and soft enough to shape by hand. Brass carries a little weight, which is why the cuff rests on the arm instead of sliding down it.
Abalone is read for its colour rather than for one colour. Teal, blue, green and flashes of pink move across the shell as your arm turns, so each bracelet reads a little differently from every angle. The five inlay panels follow the fan of the setting, with the largest at the centre.
Wear it against linen and earthy neutrals through the day, or push it up the arm beside a stack for the evening.

Is the abalone shell real, and what is the cuff made of?
Yes. The setting holds real abalone shell, cut into five inlay panels that follow the fan, so the colour shifts between teal, blue, green and pink as the light moves. The band is brass in an antique gold tone. Because shell is natural, no two cuffs show the same swirl.

How do I wear and adjust an open cuff bracelet?
Slide the cuff over the narrowest part of your wrist and turn the opening to the inside of the arm so the shell sits on top. To adjust, press both ends toward each other a little at a time, since brass moves gradually. A cuff sits best just below the wrist bone, worn slightly loose.

Wipe the cuff with a soft dry cloth after each wear. Keep it away from water, perfume and lotions, and store it in a dry pouch away from direct sunlight.
