A crop top that breathes like the courtyard it was shot in
Some days call for less. The Zar Top is our answer to the Indian summer afternoon where a full sleeve feels like a decision you regret by noon. Cut sleeveless with a softly rounded neckline, it sits easy over the body and stops at the waist, so it layers without bulk and moves without fuss.
The cloth does the real work. A textured open-weave cotton, woven with visible air between the threads, so light passes through and a breeze finds your skin. Along the hem it stays raw and frayed, left uncut on purpose. That small unravelling is the detail that keeps this piece from feeling factory-made.
How to wear it
Pair it with high-waisted linen trousers and bare feet for a courtyard afternoon, tie a long printed skirt at the waist for a market evening, or throw it over a slip dress when the sun gets serious. Antique silver and a stacked bangle finish it.
Fit and details
- Sleeveless, relaxed fit with a softly rounded neckline
- Textured open-weave cotton in deep olive green
- Raw frayed hemline, kept intentionally unfinished
- Cropped length 16 in, bust 38 in, shoulder 15 in (one size)
- Handmade in Rajasthan, India
One size, cut to flatter a range of bodies. Because each piece is finished by hand, the weave and the fray will vary slightly from the photographs. That variation is the signature, not a flaw.
